PR 2310: Business Letter Complaint

Dear Mr. Borgman,

On Dec. 20, 2009, I purchased some XD wheels from your store in Logan, Utah for $900. The service I received was great. The salesman I worked with gave me the best price he could, which made me very happy. I have always received great service from Les Schwab. I am writing this letter because I appreciate Les Schwab and I want to show you a minor problem that I have encountered since my purchase.

The product has not performed well for me because the wheels were bent. I have not received any satisfaction from the company, nor have I received any great customer service since I made the purchase. I was simply told that I would have to work it out with the wheel company, but when I called them, they said I had to go through Les Schwab. When I relayed that to your store, they simply said there was nothing they could do.

To resolve this problem, I would appreciate my money back, or some different wheels. Enclosed are copies of my receipts, warranty, model and serial numbers.

I look forward to your reply and resolution to my problem. I will wait until April 1 before I talk to the Better Business Bureau or file a complaint to the Attorney General’s Office. Please contact me at the below address or by phone at 435-555-7616.

Sincerely,

Tyson Ballard
