reading three

i liked the article about facebook because i feel like im quite the face booker and these are a lot of the same questions i ask myself. For me personally though, i dont feel like im allowing facebook to control my life and how i meet people. yeah, it is nice to be able to see what a girl looks like before i take her out,but its not taking over me giving her a call and asking her out like a girl should be asked out. Just like a lot of things, i think facebook is good if you do not get too carried away with it. I dont consider myself actuall friends with someone just because they added me as a friend on facebook. people who do take facebook that serious need to re-evaluate themselves and take a step back into reality.

Reading two

I thought it was very interesting to read about the affects that google can have on our lives. I never thought that they could see everything that i have put into the system. I know that it is the persons fault for putting the information in the system, but i still think that we deserve privacy. It is good to know that you can look at information on google to solve murders and other crimes, but i would hope that just because you put some words that look suspicious into google that it wouldnt come back and make you plead guilty because of it.
I also agree with at&t that google and these other search engines should have to pay at&t for any business they receive because of at&t.
Hopefully, before too long, we will have a new computer act established where these problems can be solved.

reading one

I was very happy to be able to read about how to properly send an email from a corporate perspective. I work at icon health and fitness, and i am often sending emails to customers asking them if they would like to add anything to their previously placed order. I have never taken a class or heard how to properly send emails. i was sort of just going off my own knowledge. the main thing i really appreciated about what i read, was that you can actually come up with a reply mate. i think it is so cool that you can have your name and job title written for you nicely on the bottom of each email you send.
