Apple today introduced iPad, a revolutionary device for browsing the web, reading and sending email, enjoying photos, watching videos, listening to music, playing games, reading e-books and much more. iPad's responsive high-resolution Multi-Touch™ display lets users physically interact with applications and content. iPad is just 0.5 inches thick and weighs just 1.5 pounds— thinner and lighter than any laptop or netbook. iPad includes 12 new innovative apps designed especially for the iPad, and will run almost all of the over 140,000 apps in the App Store. iPad will be available in late March starting at the breakthrough price of just $499.
This is a great description of what the Apple Ipad will cover. Apple does a great job in finding ways to make everyone's life a little easier. One thing I do like about Apple's PR group is that they make sure that Apple has a great name.

PR 2300: Culligan donates water to Haiti
Culligan is donating three Culligan model UF-P2 water purification systems, each capable of processing approximately 15,000 gallons of water a day for drinking and cooking. The systems come with their own gasoline-powered generators so they can operate even if electrical power may not be available. Accompanying each unit is a water storage tank that holds and dispenses 250 gallons of water. Culligan and Convoy of Hope have a long-standing partnership that helps provide aid in the wake of natural disasters.
What a great way for Culligan to show their love for Haiti. I think it is also great that they are teaming of with Convoy of Hope to help in other major disasters. Such a great idea.

PR 2300:Red cross raises money for Haiti through text messages
I find it interesting that the American Red Cross raised $9 million in 3 days with their text message fundraising campaign. Studies show that its over $100,000 every hour. What I liked about this campaign is that it was extremely easy to donate. All you have to do is text "90999" and they will automatically charge $10 to your cell phone bill. My hat is off to whoever put this campaign together because it is truly a great cause and easy to donate.

PR 2310: Letter to my cousin.
Dear Vinny,
I am writing you to tell you about what I do as a public relations representive for my company.
My job is to handle any public affairs that our company is involved with. Meaning, if there is any events that the company will be sponsoring or anything the company needs to express to the public, I will be the one who addresses them. It could be a written letter, television speech, or on the radio. basically, I am a glorified customer service represenitive for the company.
Thanks
Tyson
